Laurus nobilis. The Willow Leaved Bay, 1812
Dioecious evergreen trees or large evergreen shrub,with small yellow flowers. They were the source of the laurel wreath of Ancient Greece. The leaves can be used fresh or dried in soups and stews for their fragrant flavour.
